Lightning Strikes
Following Zayto’s warning, the Dino Fury Rangers track Lord Zedd, fighting his monsters alongside Billy Cranston and Mick Kanic. Bajillia and Squillia unveil a new weapon that lets Zedd return, and his monster Doodrip sprays a blue slime that corrupts Ollie. The now-evil Ollie opens a Cosmic Gateway and sends Zayto into deep space. The Morphin Masters are captured by Scrozzle’s Master Captivator, but Master Red gives his staff to Javi before disappearing. When Ollie attacks again, Javi plunges the staff into a pedestal, summoning new Cosmic Zords at the cost of his arm. The team forms the Cosmic Fury Megazord to drive Zedd back, then rescues Ollie and retreats to plan their next move.
Beyond Repair
Billy builds Javi a prosthetic arm while Amelia, Solon, and Lani try unsuccessfully to cure the corrupted Ollie. Izzy and Garcia discuss Zedd’s invasion of Earth as Doodrip steals Squillia’s ship to attack the Rangers himself. The team destroys Doodrip with the Cosmic Zords, but Javi’s new arm malfunctions during the fight. Lani suggests using an energy conductor to reverse Ollie’s corruption, but Zedd ambushes Dinohenge, destroying the Dino Fury statues and depowering the Rangers. Ollie affirms his loyalty to Zedd, and the team teleports their base and themselves to the planet Erridus to regroup, with Fern accidentally caught in the teleport.
Off Grid
Stranded on Erridus without powers, the Rangers debate their next steps while Billy theorizes he can create new Morphers using Master Red’s staff and a Dino Key. Aiyon is attacked by the alien Scuttleworm while foraging, and the team drives it off. Solon picks up a distress call: Zedd has invaded Earth and a forcefield blocks Zord access. After Aiyon admits his grief over losing Zayto, Billy completes new Cosmic Morphers and Orbs, allowing the team to morph into the Cosmic Fury Rangers. They return to action as Solon discovers Zayto’s location has been leaked to Zedd by a tricked Lani.
Team Work
The Rangers land on Planet Levvina to rescue Zayto, finding his destroyed DinoSaber and cape fragments. Ollie, trying to prove teamwork is overrated to Zedd, lures the team into a forest of sentient plants that trap them. Amelia and Aiyon telepathically convince the forest they’re allies, and the plants turn on Ollie’s forces. Aiyon retrieves Zayto from a protective tree, though he can no longer read Zayto’s thoughts, and the forest cryptically tells Zayto to “enjoy the time you have left.” Zayto morphs into the Zenith Ranger using Master Red’s staff and reveals Solon, Billy, and Fern turned the base into a spaceship. Meanwhile on Eltar, Zedd declares to Ollie that only survival matters.
Rock Out
The team learns Zedd has found the Cosmic Dragon Zord on Planet Akraal. To infiltrate Bajillia’s mining operation, Javi, Izzy, Fern, Amelia, and Aiyon disguise themselves as a metal rock band and play a concert. Ollie sees through the distraction and attacks, discovering Fern instead of Zayto. Zayto activates the Dragon Zord and escapes, though Ollie tags it with a tracker. After defeating a Squid Boss, the Rangers learn from Tarrick that Zedd is holding humans hostage, including Javi and Izzy’s parents, and that Squid Drills maintain Earth’s forcefield. They prep the Cosmic Cruiser for launch while Zedd is annoyed by Squillia’s crush on Heckyl.
