Power Rangers RPM takes place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. If Venjix had been released in the primary timeline (the one with the Mighty Morphin and Space Rangers), it wouldn’t have been a story about one city (Corinth) surviving; it would have been a global civil war. Legacy Rangers from across history would have come out of retirement to protect their respective cities. We would have seen the Silver Guardians from Time Force clashing with Venjix’s Grinders in the streets of Silver Hills, and the Lightspeed Rescue team dealing with the fallout of a digital plague.

The stakes would have been astronomical. Venjix would have attempted to hack into the Morphin Grid itself, possibly corrupting the Zords of past teams. This would have forced an “Avengers: Endgame” style event seasons earlier, where the RPM Rangers had to lead a resistance consisting of veteran heroes. The world wouldn’t have been a wasteland, but a high-tech battlefield where magic (Mystic Force) and spirits (Jungle Fury) were the only things Venjix couldn’t easily download and counter.
