In Jungle Fury, Jarrod was possessed for most of the season. If he had regained control in the first few episodes, he would have become an “anti-hero” Red Ranger. He wouldn’t have been part of the core team, but he would have fought alongside them as a brooding, powerful warrior seeking atonement for the things he did while possessed.
The “Jungle Fury” team would have had two “Reds”—Casey (the heart) and Jarrod (the muscle). This would have created a fascinating rivalry of styles. Jarrod’s “Black Lion” style was aggressive and brutal, while Casey’s “Tiger” style was about balance. The season would have been a martial arts masterpiece, exploring the different philosophies of combat and the true meaning of being a “master.”
