Prominent Moves & Independent Ventures
Palki Sharma Upadhyay: Having left WION in 2022 to join Network18, Palki recently stepped down as Managing Editor of Firstpost on January 29, 2026. She is currently in the process of launching her own independent media venture.
Ananya Dutta: After serving as a News Anchor and Associate Editorial Producer at WION, she joined Hindustan Times in January 2025. She is currently a Senior Anchor & Producer at HT, hosting the explanatory show Now You Know.
Shreya Upadhyaya: Following her tenure at WION and a stint at Doordarshan, she joined Times Network in April 2025. She is currently a Journalist and Anchor at Times Now, where she recently won “Best News Presenter (English)” for Global Mirror at the NT Awards 2024.
Molly Gambhir: She is currently a Senior News Anchor and Editor at Times Now, having transitioned from her prominent role at WION.
