Super Sentai Sidearms: Part 4

March 22, 2026

Gabricalibur: A heavy machete with a dinosaur head. It can “bite” the Gaburevolver to share energy.

ToQBlaster: A train-track themed gun. The “Scope” moves along a track to switch from sword to blaster mode.

ZyuohBuster: A weapon made of “cubes.” You rearrange the cubes to change the firing mode.

Mosa Blaster: A Mosasaurus head that “chomps” to fire high-pressure water/energy bolts.

Bull Riot: A heavy, weighted sabre used by the Black Knight for slow, crushing overhead strikes.

DV Defender: A riot shield/gun hybrid that can fire a massive Vulcan burst to clear entire waves of mooks.

King Stick: A staff that can fire “Ancient King” beams, exclusive to the 15,000-year-old KingRanger.

Wing Pentact: A pen-sword. AbareKiller “draws” laser traps in mid-air that explode when touched.

Aero Daggers: Feather-light blades that create miniature tornadoes to lift the user into the air.

Chrono Sabers: Dual blades that glow green and blue, used for “Press Refreeze” finishes to shrink monsters into capsules.

Lion Fang: A dual-fist gauntlet that resembles a lion’s head. It can “roar” an energy wave.

V-Lancer: A heavy spear that has a built-in machine gun at the base, designed for high-stress rescue missions.

Dino Thruster: A staff with a dial. Turning the dial selects Fire, Ice, or Electric “Storm” attacks.

Seiza Blaster: An arm-mounted gauntlet. You tilt the “Kyutama” (globe) in four directions to select different tactical moves.

Morphin Blaster: A phone that unfolds into a gun, used by the “Buddyloid” partners of the Go-Busters.

Boonboom Handle: A steering wheel that pops out of the dashboard. It converts into a baton for close-quarters “stunt” fighting.

Ranger Sticks/Rods: These represent the “Classic Era” (1975–1992). Most are retractable batons that fire generic “Ranger Beams.” The V-Box (51) was notable for being the first team-wide power booster.

The Combination Era: Weapons like the Star Sword/Cutter (Dairanger) were the first to show complex mechanical combinations where two sidearms clicked into one rifle.

Specialized Finisher Tools: The Rekka Daizantou (70) is famous for being a sword so large it requires two hands and doubles as a cannon that launches teammates.

Sixth Ranger Exclusives: The Leon Laser (71) is a rare example of a sidearm that belongs to a “Sentai Spirit” (Gosei Knight) rather than a human, doubling as his head-piece.

The “Sports/Hobby” Weapons: Command Bats (Battle Fever J) could become umbrellas, fencing foils, or throwing sticks. The Gama Gama Gun (Ninninger) is a frog-shaped gun that “croaks” when an enemy is near.

The Toy-Drive Tech: These are weapons designed specifically around a collectible, like the Tensouder (Goseiger) cards or the Ryu Buckle (Ryusoulger) which stores “souls.”

The Parody/Unique entries: The Moe Moe Z-Cune (96) is an anime girl statue that becomes a gun (Akibaranger). The Falcon Summoner (100) is a bow that “chirps” to call the Falcon Zord.
