Kamen Rider Zero-One: Review: It’s My Passion

April 10, 2026

In Episode 4, “It’s My Passion,” Hiden Intelligence CEO Aruto Hiden and his assistant Izu visit the studio of renowned manga artist Choichiro Ishizumi. Aruto is a huge fan of Ishizumi’s work, but he is disappointed to find that the artist has become lazy, leaving all the creative labor to his Humagear assistant, G-Pen.

While G-Pen is incredibly efficient at mimicking Ishizumi’s style, the heart and soul of the original manga have vanished. This tension peaks when MetsubouJinrai.net targets G-Pen, hacking him into the Vicarya Magia. The monster begins a destructive rampage, forcing Aruto to confront the reality that even the most helpful technology can accidentally stifle human inspiration.

The conflict escalates as Aruto transforms into Kamen Rider Zero-One to stop the Magia, but he finds himself struggling against the creature’s high-speed tunneling and defensive shell. To overcome these obstacles, Aruto utilizes the Flying Falcon Progrise Key, taking to the skies in a sleek new aerial form to gain the upper hand.

Meanwhile, Isamu Fuwa of A.I.M.S. arrives on the scene, his deep-seated hatred for Humagears fueling a brutal intervention. By the end of the battle, Ishizumi is moved by Aruto’s passion and G-Pen’s dedication, ultimately rediscovering his own love for drawing. The episode concludes with a reminder that while AI can assist in the process, the spark of “passion” must always come from the human creator.
