It was announced at the Kamen Rider 55th Anniversary Launch Event the Kamen Rider Kabuto 20th Anniversary: The One Who Inherits the Heavens film. 

Taking place 20 years after the events of the TV series, in a world where humans and Worms co-exist, what is the purpose of the reactivated ZECT? A new Kamen Rider using the Atlas Zecter appears.

The cast and staff from the series reunite to work on this project. Yuki Sato (Arata Kagami/Kamen Rider Gatack), Hidenori Tokuyama (So Yaguruma/Kamen Rider KickHopper), Kazuki Kato (Daisuke Kazama/Kamen Rider Drake), Tomohisa Yuge (Masato Mishima), Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi (Syuichi Tadokoro), and Hirotaro Honda (Riku Kagami) will reprise their respective roles for the upcoming film.

Featuring the tagline, “Will humanity inherit the heavens? Or the Worms?”, the film is written by Kamen Rider Kabuto head writer Shoji Yonemura and directed by Kamen Rider Kabuto main director Hidenori Ishida. The film is set for a limited theatrical release on November 6th, and will have a Blu-ray and DVD release on February 10, 2027.
